A father and son duo. They play the flute together, filled with admiration. His father, an experienced musician, is determined to share his knowledge with his son. He guides his son with a gentle hand, explaining the intricacies of the instrument and appreciating when his son gets things right.

The father does not rush his son instead, he encourages him to experiment with the notes and melodies himself. The father and son slowly grow closer to each other through music, and the bond between them gradually strengthens.
And the two share a special moment together. No matter how much time passes. To them, it is a symbol of their special relationship and the bond between them. No matter how much their lives change, they will always have music to bring them closer.

The work is to promote father-son relationship and the culture originating from the Northern part of Ghana

The drawing was done by decorating the figures with scribbled letters, mathematical schemata, shapes, straight lines that fill empty spaces

Their traditional attire known as ( smock) was drawn with a variety of colours.

SMOCK or ‘FUGU’
Originating from the Northern parts of Ghana,’ fugu’ is a beautiful hand-woven fabric. It is woven in strips which are then sewn together to make a full cloth. ‘Fugu’ cloths usually have stripes as a design pattern and are commonly used to make a traditional attire known as ‘Batakari’ or Smock.

The work was done using neon ink pens and black AOZHIHAO AH-801A
0.5 mm gel ink pen.
